Our Story
Strokers Cricket Club was founded on the simple idea that cricket should be fun, inclusive, and accessible to everyone. Since our humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a unique roaming club that travels across Northamptonshire and beyond, playing against a variety of teams and embracing the spirit of the game wherever we go.
Our Members
Our members are as varied as the pitches we play on. From nearly excellent batsmen and bowlers who can turn a game on its head, to those who just manage to hold a bat the right way around, we welcome all abilities. What unites us is not just our love for cricket, but also our belief that the game is about camaraderie, enjoyment, and the occasional victory.
Our Matches
As a roaming club, we don’t have a fixed home ground. Instead, we take our passion for cricket on the road, playing matches in various locations across the county. This roaming nature allows us to experience the game in different settings, meet new opponents, and, most importantly, make new friends along the way.
